However the supply chain had always been managed regionally & as a result there was variance in business practice, cost & performance. The client felt the appointment of a Global Supply Chain Officer would provide a functional focus & would be a key strategic pillar of the future success & growth of the business

The client specified a supply chain leader who had an evident understanding of end supply chain best practice, had substantial global experience & leadership skills. An understanding of commodities & B2B as well as consumer markets was also required
