Richard is a Partner and Head of the Industrial Practice.

He has a wealth of experience across the industrial market, delivering senior level search assignments across the infrastructure, construction, services, defence, aerospace and manufacturing sectors.

An established recruitment professional with over 15 years’ experience, Richard has originated and delivered on executive search assignments in addition to leadership benchmarking, organisational development, assessment and employer value. His client base includes FTSE 100 and Fortune 500 organisations, along with private equity backed and family-owned businesses.

Prior to joining Miles Advisory, Richard worked in Korn Ferry’s global industrial practice for 12 years, where he was a Managing Consultant.  During his tenure with Korn Ferry, he was also Head of Practice and more latterly Head of search. 

Richard’s early career was in the Royal Navy, where he flew the Lynx helicopter in the Fleet Air Arm completing a number of operational tours around the world.

Richard holds an LLB (Hons) in Law from the University of Wolverhampton, is an Associate Fellow of the Nautical Institute and a Freeman of the City of London.
