Client Profile

Our client was a globally recognised loyalty business with both a B2B & B2C franchise. A recent strategic partnership in South Africa provided the platform for the development of significant market presence & the development of a broader pan-African business. To facilitate this a Country Manager was required who could work with significant autonomy to drive customer acquisition, activation & engagement. This was a critical appointment to the success of this venture

Client Requirement

We needed to locate a commercial leader with a strong marketing & deal making background, ideally with an understanding of loyalty. It was crucial candidates had a strong customer orientation & analytical skillset with the entrepreneurial mindset & drive to build a successful stand alone business

Our Approach & Strategy

We led a South African focused search into Retail, Banking, Hospitality & Travel which were deemed to be the most relevant markets. From this we identified a target list of candidates & interviewed in market to assess fit & relevance to the brief

We delivered a diverse shortlist of candidates from each of the target industry segments appointing a candidate from one of South Africa’s leading banks
